Outsiders, careless internal users, and malicious insiders are the main sources of threats through email. Phishing, spear-phishing, whaling attacks are executed to inject malware, ransomware, and other command-and-control software.  Hackers and cyber criminals leverage people’s psychological weak spots – fear of authority, temptations, inattentiveness, or ignorance.

Current Email gateways and network monitoring tools aren’t fool-proof means to stop malware, phishing, bad URLs, account compromise, and data leaks.  Most businesses are yet to invest in educating their users on detecting and reporting Phishing attacks.
